LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Lead MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) design and engineering projects for the construction industry. Produce Mechanical (HVAC) design documents for construction projects. Provide BIM modeling or CAD drafting for the projects assigned. Coordinate design and drafting effort between disciplines within the firm. Perform surveys, analysis, measurements and verifications for the projects. Interface directly with the clients, architects and other design teams for coordinating the deliverables of the project. Coordinate and manage MEP design project schedules with required disciplines to ensure the design meets the requirements. Design HVAC systems and develop mechanical floor plans and construction documents for residential, commercial and school buildings. Including VRF, PTACs, 4 pipes FCU, energy recovery units and make up air units for high rise buildings. Perform surveys field walk-through analysis, field measurements and verifications for projects during construction and renovation projects. Coordinate HVAC design with other disciplines to ensure the design is fully coordinated and meets all requirements by local codes and client. Knowledge of Modeling, Design and Drafting Software (AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Right-CAD, Right-J, HVAC Solution Pro, Trane Trace 3D). Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or any other field of Engineering. Two years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any other field of Engineering.
